Project Details
Almamary Skylights has a rich portfolio of residential skylights, located in different cities across the MENA region. Providing all types of skylights, from structural, fixed, and retractable types to glass and polycarbonate skylights, Almamary tailors each skylight project to fit the building’s needs and your preferences. From planning and manufacturing to installation, Almamary handles all phases professionally to deliver stunning skylights that elevate your place.
This particular skylight project was designed, manufactured, and installed by Almamary into a villa in the UAE. The chosen material was high-performance glazing, which is a type of glazing that provides better thermal and solar performance than regular glazing. This choice is exceptionally useful for skylights in hot climates, as it helps keep the indoors cool and prevent overheating without compromising daylight quality.
As for the shape, it takes the form of a barrel vault to complement the exterior and interior design as well as integrate smoothly into the roof’s structure. The barrel vault shape is unique for its tunnel-like curved shape and elongated design, making the place feel more spacious and open to the outside. Explore more skylight shapes now.
